Creamy Pasta With Mushrooms

You might have noticed that I love recipes that are easy and quick to prepare. Well, this gotta be one of those! It only took me 15 minutes today. What makes it so easy is that you don’t really need exact measurements for it. You can literally throw it together. This would be for about [...]

Eco Friendly Outfit Of The Week

After all these weeks of cold and grey winter I am longing for some summer. The other day I read about new fashion trends for 2011 and it’s gonna be colorful, baby! So I mixed up everything colorful and eco firendly I could find for this weeks fun outfit. Summer can come! Jeans: organic by [...]

*** Happy Birthday, Fritzi! ***

What a day! Fritzi turned 3 years old and had a day full of fun and food! Lucky him, he was able to play all day long with his best friend Louie, who stays with us for the weekend. They played in the garden, ran through the forest, had a huge portion of rice & [...]

Vegan Goulash

I found this recipe in a magazine and it looked so good that I had to try it. I loved how quick and easy it was to make. It was the first time ever that I cooked with “seitan” (I know, it was long overdue!) and I really liked its taste and consistency. We ate [...]

Picture Of The Day

Eventhough I feel bad for the garden owner, this really made me grinn. This must have been moles with humor or some kind of practicing garden for young moles  ;-)

Cuddling With A Cow

On facebook I am linked to a lot of animal and nature groups, that keep posting so many sweet and touching videos, pictures and stories. And I thought why not also post them on my blog? When I watch these videos, they always bring a smile on my face or sometimes even a happy-tear in [...]

Flash Mob For The Good Cause

I think it’s about two years ago, that I first heared about flash mobs. In case you haven’t heared of it, Wikipedia describes it as “a group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, perform an unusual and sometimes seemingly pointless act for a brief time, then disperse, often for the purposes of [...]

Cut the chicory lengthwise into eighths. Core the pear and also cut lengthwise into thin slices. Cut gorgonzola cheese into small cubes. Lay gorgonzola, chicory, pear and walnuts on the pizza dough and sprinkle with the grated cheese. Bake for about 20-30 minutes at 356°F/180 °C until golden brown. This recipe is linked up with: Seasonal Sunday [...]

Fritzi And The Last Nut

Yes, Fritzi also likes nuts (wonder, oh wonder!! ). Since they are very healthy for him (unsalted only of course) I thought, why not give the rest of the snack-bag to him for a little treat. See how he enjoyed it….

Best Orange Chocolate Muffins (Vegan)

Wow, these muffins taste sooooo delicious! The recipe is out of the baking book “The 100 Best Vegan Baking Recipes” from Kris Holechek (love this book!). I don’t make muffins that often, because the ones I made before tended to be a little dry. But these muffins are simply wonderful. I don’t know about you, but [...]
