Favorite Things In The World – Vegan Cookies From California

Something I LOVE about travelling is to find new, fabulous things that I cannot have at home. These things make the cities I visit even more special and personal. For example: that little place in Gothenburg has the best Phad Thai ever, my favorite pet store is at Venice Beach (I get a little toy for Fritzi whenever I go there), in Paris I have to eat Macarons at Ladurée, in San Francisco they have the most delicious vegan Hot Dogs at Underdog, when I’m in Sweden I have to buy Geisha ‘Orange Dream’ chocolate and Bregott ‘extra salted’… and so on and so on. You get the picture? ;-)

Last year I made a trip to sunny California. Besides all the beautiful impressions of nature and cities I also took home a few of these cookies.

It was the first time I’ve been to San Francisco, where we visited some friends. Thanks to our friend, I found out about these delicious cookies. These are the best store-bought cookies I ever had. And yes, they are vegan! Just thinking of them makes me drool. They are big, chewy and so flavorful. The name of the brand is Alternative Baking Company. Check out there webpage here. I didn’t try all flavors yet, but so far “Double Chocolate Decadence” was my favorite.

It’s a pitty that I cannot buy them here, but then again, it makes them even more special that I can only have them in California.

Do you also have favorite things in other cities?
