Green Chai Latte

(for 1 person)

1 leaf of kale + stalk

2 dates (seeded)

20 almonds

200 ml Chai tea

100 ml soy milk

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1 tbsp maple sirup (optional)

My friend gave me the tip to soak the dates and nuts in water for some hours or overnight, so that the body will absorb their nutritions even better. So if you like, start by soaking dates and almonds in water. Make a Chai Tea (let cool down in case you want to drink it cold).

Blend all ingredients in a blender. When you’re done, run everything through a sieve (unless your mixer is strong enough, like the Vitamix, to make everything super smooth). And now enjoy! : )
